Vintage American Fairytale

Camden, Maine

Overlooking the serene waters of Lake Megunticook in Camden, Maine, we transformed a rebuilt lakeside home into a richly layered retreat celebrating artistry, heritage, and craftsmanship. Every detail tells a story—from walls hand-painted through the winter to floors stenciled in custom patterns inspired by vintage quilt work. Collaborating closely with a local artisan, we brought a playful yet refined vision to life, incorporating stair newels inspired by antique croquet mallets, hand-painted furnishings, and a custom “Oreo cow” chandelier that nods to the local agriculture. Blending tradition with imagination, this “Vintage American Fairy Tale” captures our hallmark approach: collaborative, inventive, and exquisitely detailed.
