Third-generation owner, Megan van der Kieft is the creative force behind Margo Moore Interiors, where she specializes in creating timeless yet fresh interiors that reflect the way her clients live. With a keen eye for scale, color, and unique accents, Megan blends modern sensibilities with classic design principles to craft spaces that feel both personal and enduring.

Her design process is rooted in collaboration, ensuring every home tells the story of the people who live there. Whether sourcing one-of-a-kind antiques, curating custom furnishings, or integrating contemporary pieces, Megan’s signature style celebrates contrast and character while maintaining balance and harmony.

Based in Camden, Maine, Megan draws inspiration from her coastal surroundings as well as her extensive travels abroad. From old-world architecture to eclectic global influences, she brings a worldly perspective to mid-coast Maine interiors and beyond.

Megan’s design roots trace back to her mother’s beloved Camden store, where she first developed her love of interiors and distinctive finds. She later took over the day-to-day operations at Margo Moore Interiors, carrying on the family’s design legacy creating homes that are beautiful, livable, and uniquely tailored to each client.
